Twenty Things You Maybe Didn’t Know About Me
1. I am incredibly lazy. Some days I do as little as humanly possible just to keep breathing.
2. Travelling scares me.
3. Large bodies of water scare me even more.
4. I love my family, close and extended, even the weird ones.
5. Not sure I could live without coffee. Not willing to give it a try.
6. There are a lot of movies that make me cry.
7. My dream vacation would be to move to someplace warm and never come home.
8. I hate winter.
9. I love to read.
10. Math and chemistry and physics all confuse the hell out of me.
11. I was a teacher for awhile. NOT my thing.
12. My favourite color is red. But my clothes are predominantly black.
13. I don’t like to fight, or even listen to people fight. Or debate. Or disagree however remotely with eachother.
14. I would like to decorate my entire house in an African theme. Two rooms just doesn’t seem like enough. I don’t think I’m African, so who knows where that came from.
15. I love to paint.
16. Stupidity makes me crazy.
17. I LOVE MY CROCS!!
18. I used to have very long straight dark hair. I don’t think it’s necessarily true that blondes have more fun.
19. Obsessive compulsive disorder makes perfect sense to me.
20. I have a very hard time throwing useless things out, but no problem at all buying new useless things.

This is where I come to talk to myself by dredging up an old photograph or a memory and beating it to death with my keyboard. One day all this blather will be treasured by my progeny. Deluded as that notion might be, it’s what keeps me here. Just to clarify things a little, no part of my past or present life was ever spent actually living on a sidewalk. Life in the fast lane would have been a big fat lie; life on a skinny railing high above the railroad tracks with an umbrella at dawn – damn. Didn’t think of that one fast enough. But it’s sometimes how life feels. Precariously tense, but insanely fun.
