Weekly Photo Challenge: Nostalgia
Is it possible to be nostalgic for a time you barely even remember? Warm sand between my toes, the cry of the gulls, the sound of the waves, digging a water filled hole to China. There are some things that stay with you forever.
Funny how all beach sand holes lead to China – from Brooklyn, New York to Santiago, Chile and from Paris, and Puerto Rico, and Alberta and . . .

The little boy front row on the left could be my little brother, years ago. We lived at the beach (Myrtle Beach) before it became a metropolis. Great photo of your family. Were you in Canada? Dianne

This was taken near Port Elgin, Ontario, and the boy on the left is my big brother. ♥ I’m on the right, sister in the middle, cousins and aunts in the back.

I think it is perfectly WONDERFUL to be nostalgic about anything that brings fond memories! even if it is two seconds worth!

I guess a trip to the beach was an exciting adventure in my young life – I’ve had a love for it as long as I can remember, even though I don’t much like the water or swimming. Weird but true. Nothing beats sunshine and sand.
