Funny- we just replaced a coffee table – it was square and too big for the spot. My husband wanted a round table. I just wanted something that would stand up to grandchild abuse. I don’t want to worry about scratches, dents, etc. That’s what it’s for!

We have footstools and the coffee table lies dismantled and stored. Good riddance I say. We have individual side tables for coffee. Dianne

Coffee tables are something I bang my knees on walking by them. So yeah – good thing to get rid of. 🙂

Good advice, Jazzy. Would that I could have known you way back when. My children would cover the coffee table with a blanket and use it as a cubby house.
