That was the end, the first time I saw the real you.  Dawn breaks on a dark night.  The sad, the bad, the harsh cruel lies.  All of it done.

That was the day you set me free.

  1. Seeing someone for who they really are is often the first step towards freedom. I love the line, “Dawn breaks on a dark night”–what a beautiful, and accurate, depiction.
