Jazzy Does 100 Days of Happiness 35

Happiness is having the courage to firmly and unapologetically say NO. And maybe leaving off the rude expletives in front of it if you can manage that.

    Me: Yes?
He: Hi, I’m such and so from Meats R Us. Can I interest you in our freezer specials?
    Me: [to myself] ^%$*&
Me:[to He] No thanks. I’m vegetarian.
He: Uh, yeah, thanks for your time then
He: [to himself] Yeah, right, like I haven’t heard that a million times today.

  2. I don’t see the problem. “No, thank you, I am not interested. Good bye.” (hang up or shut the door). When it is someone on the street asking me for money, I say, “No, I don’t hand out money to people on the street. I give to charities instead.” (I have been known to hand out food I have, but that’s it–no money.)
